The Icon White Blend 2022

The Icon 2022 White Blend is an elegant yet voluptuous wine with an expressive aromatic profile of ripe stone fruit, honey, smooth citrus and subtle vanilla oak spice. The palate is poised and refined, showing lively citrus fruit balanced by crisp acidity, with rich texture from extended lees maturation and a long, lingering finish.
 
All components were sourced from a single grower in the Stellenbosch Kloof and harvested at optimum ripeness. Each varietal was matured separately on the lees in 300-litre French oak barrels for 10 months with regular bâtonnage before blending. The wine is composed of 70% Chardonnay, 20% Semillon and 10% Viognier, and pairs beautifully with sushi, fish curry, mussel soup, risotto, grilled chicken and cream-based dishes.
