Merlot is selected from 26+ year old vineyard parcels on the estate. Malolactic fermentation took place in 300L French oak Hogsheads, before 17 months of maturation in new and second fill Nevers French oak barrels. A portion of Cabernet Franc was added for structure and acidity, and a splash of Petit Verdot giving the wine a lifted floral aroma and polished, sleek tannins.
