This Cabernet Sauvignon was vinified in a combination of open & closed top stainless-steel fermenters to preserve the fresh fruit flavours. After fermentation the wine was transferred to seasoned French Oak barrels for further maturation.

The 2019 Guardian Peak Cabernet Sauvignon has classic aromas of black current, blueberry, chocolate and toast. Fine, well-structured tannins and good acidity balance the bold black fruit with hints of raspberry on the palate. Savoury flavours of cigar box and tobacco add complexity to this medium-bodied Cabernet, which has a sweet, fruity finish.
