Intense spicy notes of liquorice and black pepper, combined with fresh aromas of dark berries and cloves. The multi-layered and rich, rounded palate is very well balanced and lingers, with hints of plums and savoury nuances.

Grapes are sourced from various vineyards from farms surrounding the town of Stellenbosch, with a diversity of rich agricultural soils.

Attention to detail and patience in the winemaking process ensures a timeless quality in the wine. Matured for 18 months in 300 litre French oak barrels.
