The winemaker suggests serving it with full flavoured meats such as deboned lamb, oxtail casseroles and stews.

On the nose the wine shows abundance of fruit from blackcurrant, plums and redberries to spice. The palate showcases dark fruit, black berries, plums, smokey notes and oak spice. The tannins are well integrated, still showing structure on the mid palate and has a lingering finish.
