Niel Joubert Reserve Grenache Blanc 2017 (6 bottles)
Goes well with spicy chicken dishes and thai
One of the rarer grape varieties. As with the Reserve Chenin, this wine has spent 24 months in new 400 litre French barrels, which shows as a ginger biscuit savouriness, with a gentle vanilla top note. That is well partnered by stone fruit and mango. Expressive, a lush ripeness, becoming more savoury on the finish, with biscuit and roasted nuts, finishing long. New World in style, this is a powerful personality which means it can be matched with a wide array of dishes.
