A beautiful Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon blend, the grapes for this wine originated from high-quality vineyard sites around Stellenbosch and Elgin and planted on deep granite and shale soils that imparts a distinct varietal character to the wine. The wine has good intensity and is structured, yet has a rounded palate that is perfectly balanced. Ripe tannin imparts a good drinkability that offers a broad appeal that finishes integrated and silky with lingering dark berry fruits.
